They are the real thing! This review is for the original fit 501s with button fly, not the shrink to fit ones. I was a bit concerned because some reviews mentioned that the fabric/quality is different. But after unsuccesfully running around to several stores trying to find the correct size and color I figured I had nothing to loose. I had ordered 4 pairs (2 black, 2 dark stonewash) for my husband. He can't tell the difference from the department store bought ones. Once it's time to get new jeans we will definitely order them through Amazon again.

I bought these jeans at a retail store and wanted to get them cheaper online. I just received these jeans from Amazon and they are shrink-to-fit. They feel different than the regular 501s that I bought at the store. I have decided to keep them but will update this review once I get them out of the wash and dried. The regular (non shrink-to-fit) ones fit perfectly on me so I was hoping to get the same ones. So for those of you who are picky like me, these are shrink-to-fit. For me, they do not fit/feel the same as the regular 501s.

Hunted all over California and Hawaii for Levi's white jeans before being inspired to check on Amazon.com. There they were in a multitude of sizes. Thanks!!!

I expected the product to have passed Q.C but to my disappointment the stitching alignment of the pair doesn't match. Guess products like this are best worn and tried for satisfaction before purchase.

These don't show any signs of being rejects. They fit and wear just like the Levi's 505 bought in the store.

Usually when I go to buy my 32x32 Levis (locally at Macy's) and I try on 5+ pair, they all fit differently (too loose, too tight, too long, too short, etc.). I figured this would be the same ordering from Amazon but I don't like shopping at malls so I took a chance. To my surprise all 4 pair I bought fit great.

Nice jeans no problems. They fit me fine and they are zippered which is why i buy levi's 505 jeans. Thanks again

i am sure you hear this all the time,they do not make them like they used to..the delivery was prompt and handled professionally,just wrong size,at all.has worn the same size for 30 years,oh well..

I appreciated the wide choice of sizes available for immediate shipment from Amazon. Previously, I had to visit my favorite store more than once to get my size.

I bought a pair of Levi's 501 shrink to fit jeans. As anyone knows that have worn Levi's more than 10 years, is that the quality in the material has gone down since about 2009. These jeans are dated 2008 and have the original quality thick jean material. Whether these are from an overstock of some kind or what I don't know, but I would buy while they still have them.

Good Jeans, good price. A pity Amazon don't sell these to those of us who live in the UK

Bought a pair of these in at a store and the clerk said if I don't put them in the dryer, I can buy my normal size - WRONG! They still shrank a lot! So I ordered a pair the same color from Amazon, but this time 2 inches bigger in the waist. I would recommend hanging them up to dry. That way they will shrink up just enough and fit perfectly. I bought the brown ones, and I LOVE the color. I've never seen a brown color like this in any other jean style. I just ordered another pair in the rigid blue. They've become my favorite jeans already!

Just what i was looking for easy to afford & good quality 501 original jeans,but becarful these jeans will shrink so buy them 1+ your waist and 2-3+ your inseam if you want a perfect fit.

I am so glad that I found these jeans on here! My boyfriend has a very hard time buying jeans he's 6'5" with a 38" inseam and used to just wear the older STF but it's like they changed them just enough that he could only wear them a little while before they shrunk way to much. These he has been wearing since before Christmas and they are still wearable! Amazon is the only place I have been able to find them since "Big and Tall" stores don't actually have items for the "Tall"
